What is it good for?

The hottest ticket in (trendy Shoreditch) town; a newly opened US-style pizzeria, with good food, surprisingly glamorous decor for a pizza joint and a bustling atmosphere.

Signature dishes

Elaborate pizzas with ingredients that push the envelope, such as veal meatballs, prosciutto, sage, lemon and parsley, with a creamy base. Duck sausage with artichoke is a close second, but even the Margherita hits the right notes.

Who's the boss?

Nick Jones, CEO and founder of the Soho House Group. The man with the Midas touch strikes again.

Tips please?

Pizza East opened only two months ago and is still bulging at the seams, so definitely book.

What's the damage?

Pizzas range from a very reasonable £6 to £14. The wood oven dishes are only marginally more and you would have to eat a hell of a lot of antipasti to break the bank. If flamboyance is required to impress your clients, then the wine list will give you that chance.
