The Cour des Comptes, France’s national audit organisation, has
appointed Francois Chambon as its new communications, documentation and
archives chief. Chambon replaces Jean-Francois Bureau, who left to head
the French army’s information and PR service last summer (PR Week, 24
July). Chambon, who started work last month, will report to the
organisation’s secretary-general, Gerard Ganser, and oversee 29 staff.
He was previously an adviser on organising elections at the French
ministry of the interior.
