Pressure group the New Local Government Network has hired its first
PR agency, Reputation, on a six-month consumer and corporate account
following a three-way pitch last week. Funding for the Network, which
has 500 members working in the public and private sectors, comes from
conference income and private sponsors. Formed in 1996, the Network’s
aim is to modernise local government, improve services and aid local
decision-making. Reputation will handle media relations and promote the
organisation’s publications.
Reputation is headed by partners Mark Fletcher and Caroline Wilson.
