The US banking giant has selected the agency to launch its new structured investment product range to the UK independent financial adviser market.

Agency boss David Andrews said: 'Bigger clients such as Citigroup are now eschewing the expensive, all style and no substance PR brigade of old in favour of smaller players that actually deliver results. This bodes well for this year and beyond.'

The bank is one of the globe's largest providers of structured products, an asset class that has seen its reputation plummet in the wake of the sub-prime losses of recent years. Nevertheless, Citigroup has this week established a group to structure and market structured investment products to retail investors to 'capitalise better on the growing opportunities in the market'.

In addition David Andrews Media has announced it will advise high net worth wealth manager Jonathan Fry & Co as it relaunches its flagship London Family Office and investment advisory service. Newly launched money saving website ISAVEDMONEY.co.uk is another of the agency's new clients for January 2010.

The agency has also announced new business with investment house Jubilee Financial Products, commercial property fund manager Seven Dials Fund Management, retirement income specialist Annuity Direct, and low-carbon emissions specialist Sabien Technology.

'When times are hard, whether to continue spending money on maintaining a public profile can be a difficult decision to make,'  said Andrews.'Our clients are very bullish for 2010 – most are sick to the back teeth of the muted business environment that has plagued our economy over the past 18 months or so. It is going to be a good year.'
