Grant Butler Coomber board director Veronique Briant is quitting the

agency, just 15 months after joining to set up a consumer division.

Briant, who is currently on holiday, will leave in three months time.

Fellow board director and joint agency founder Susan Grant said she was

unaware of Briant’s future job plans. In her absence the four-strong

consumer team will report to Grant, who is interviewing candidates to

head the division.

Briant joined Grant Butler Coomber in June last year from the travel PR

consultancy Affinity where she was deputy managing director.

Grant declined to give reasons for Briant’s plan to leave the agency but

said her departure was ‘perfectly amicable.’

Its consumer accounts include Vin Sullivan Foods and travel firm Top

Deck Ski.
