PR EUROPE: BUDAPEST - Rowland hops into brewing deal

The Rowland Company has been appointed by Belgian brewing giant Interbrew as its first PR agency in Hungary. Interbrew owns the Borsodi brewery which it bought from the Hungarian government in 1991. Borsodi is the second largest brewery in Hungary and brews native beers Vilagos and Rakoczi and Interbrew brands Stella Artois and Rolling Rock. Attila Schillinger, managing director of Rowland Budapest, said: ’We will work at improving Borsodi’s corporate communications, reputation and sales.’
