John Waples will become the latest senior journalist to jump ship for the PR industry when he makes the move in the New Year.
Operating from FD's London office, Waples will assume a broad role in advising a number of the consultancy's larger financial and corporate clients.
In a statement, the agency's UK CEO Geoffrey Pelham-Lane said: 'As one of the UK's most senior and widely respected business editors with extensive experience across a diverse range of industries and issues, John's counsel will be of particular value to our clients.
