PR agency Media Communications has been appointed by publisher
Quadrillion to promote the launch later this month of the first
commemorative book on Diana, Princess of Wales.
The agency, which specialises in public relations for books and videos,
is organising a round of TV and radio interviews this week for author
Peter Donnelly. The launch is scheduled for 29 September, meaning that
Donnelly will have written the book in just under a month.
’Our task will be to give the book a caring and dignified launch that
treads a careful path between the desire for publishing success and the
sensitivity to tribute products that quite understandably is going to be
felt by some consumers,’ explained the agency’s managing director
The 215-page hardback book, said to contain many previously unpublished
photos of Diana, will be on sale at pounds 7.99, with a donation being
made to the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
