Lynne Franks PR is planning to offer clients TV and radio production

facilities via a new multimedia division launched this week.

The agency has recruited former Radio Lynx producer Kate Barber and ex-

NBC Superchannel producer Sharon Hanley for the division, headed by

Lynne Franks deputy MD Julian Henry.

Lynne Franks Multimedia will offer TV production, VNR’s, TV sponsorship,

radio production and media training.

Barber and Hanley have been trialling the service on existing Lynne

Franks clients BAFTA, BT and Nicotinell over the last three months.

Henry said he was also talking to several non clients and hopes

Multimedia’s clients would sign up for mainstream agency work in the

future.

‘The idea is to convert them in the long term,’ he said. ‘It’s a fact

that our clients are looking for new ways of working with TV and radio;

they want to do something else rather than just broadcast advertising in

the same old way.’
