The new photographic and production outfit will be called Outside Photographic and will be headed up by photographic agent Mark Ray-Jones.
Outside Photographic will work with Outside Organisation’s brands and celebrity clients to create exclusive shoots for a broad range of media and campaigns, spanning lifestyle and fashion.
Joss Stone, 50 Cent and Naomi Campbell are among the clients who will work with Outside Photographic for future promotional material and editorial content.
‘The Outside Photographic will further our ability to offer more to our clients and the media,’ said Outside Organisation CEO Alan Edwards. ‘I have every confidence this new division will join in continuing to make the Outside brand to a formidable "one-stop media shop" for the entertainment industry.’
This is not the first time that Edwards has been involved in photographic agencies; he was the ‘E’ in the ESP agency that helped to propel photographer Rankin to fame.
Mark Ray-Jones, who has more than 15 years of experience as a photographic agent, will be director of the venture. The agency will launch with four photographers: Phil Knot, who has worked for Paramount Pictures and Versace Sport; Roger Rich, who has shot for I-D, GQ and Zoo magazine; Paul Alexander, who has produced campaign images for Barcardi, Miller Beer and Jack Daniels, and Ali Mobasser, whose clients have included Arena Magazine, Art Review and BBC.
Outside Organisation MD Penny McDonald and international director Celena Aponte have both announced they are leaving the agency in the past few weeks.
