The research also found that blog coverage of the firm was up by 85 per cent on October's figures. The jump in coverage has been attributed to Frank PR's launch of popular video game Modern Warfare 2.
Apollo Research director Will Arnold said: 'It's difficult with individual stories to spot the latest overall trends. In the case of technology though, there has been a big move towards how technology is used. In terms of Activision it's an event-driven thing: it hit the launch extremely hard.'
Mobile company Orange saw the second largest month-on-month increase in coverage, with Microsoft's X-Box taking the third slot.
