Taking effect immediately, Sandberg will be based in Singapore and report directly to Kirsty Leighton, vice president of global head of client development and David Ko, executive vice-president of the APAC region.
She is charged with identifying and developing communication strategies for clients and extending the network's long-term presence in Asia-Pacific. "I'll be working closely with our global team to put in place formal processes that'll help us accelerate growth as well as increase our footprint across this region," said Sandberg.
Prior to Waggener Edstrom, Sandberg headed the corporate practice at Lewis and helped to launch Graffiti Communications. She was additionally the strategic acquisition manager of global corporate services at American Express International.
