New Credit Suisse director, Brunswick leads Hemscott listings.

Credit Suisse has hired Vanessa Neill as a director, corporate comms in the EMEA region. Based in London, she will report to Gavin Sullivan, MD and head of comms for the EMEA region. She was an associate director at Finsbury and has worked for Hogarth, Tulchan Communications and Merrill Lynch.

Fishburn Hedges has boosted its financial practice with the hire of Merlin PR's Paul Farrow as a director. Farrow will join in the New Year and will jointly spearhead the agency's City and wider financial offer alongside Andy Berry. At Merlin, Farrow managed clients including Kazkommertsbank, the Man Group, Russia's MICEX Stock Exchange and Ferox Capital Management.

Greentarget has brought in Dafina Grapci-Penney from Weber Shandwick Financial as an account director.

She will work alongside Jeff Watt and Melissa Rowling on key financial services accounts.

Brunswick increased its lead in the fourth quarter Hemscott Rankings Guide for FTSE 100 firms. The firm now has a total of 26, increasing its lead over second-placed Finsbury, with 22 clients. FD led the way in terms of FSTE AIM, FTSE 250 and total clients. Brunswick led a table of total clients by profit, beating Maitland, FD, Smithfield and Finsbury respectively.

College Hill has appointed former Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial director Mike Davies to its industrials team. At BPC&F - now merged with Pelham - he advised clients including Richemont, Hansard Global, Evolution Group, Principal Capital and Artumas. He has also headed up investor relations at The Rank Group, Invensys and 3i Group.
