Harrison Cowley’s Manchester office has been signed up by Telegraph
Records, the label formed 18 months ago by two ex-members of Orchestral
Manoeuvres in the Dark.
The agency, which was appointed in late September following a non-
competitive pitch, will be handling national PR for the label and its
artists, including tours and product launches.
Imminent campaigns include support for the launch of a new collaborative
work featuring former Lotus Eater Peter Coyle. Chester-based Telegraph
Records was set up by former OMD members Paul Humphries and Mal Holmes.
It promotes itself as a label that is ‘by artists for artists’.
Denise Mullen, MD of Harrison Cowley Manchester, said: ‘The people at
Telegraph have an impressive track record and we see our appointment as
a chance to help them grow their business substantially over the next
two years.’
