PRAGUE: MMD has appointed Edward Waldron-Davies as the new head of
its Czech office. Waldron-Davies will also head MMD’s new office in
Bratislava, Slovakia, which will open before Christmas.
Waldron-Davies replaces Vanessa Green, who has returned to the UK to
become client services director for the company’s UK and European Union
operation. He will report to Gary Fremantle, MMD’s general manager for
central and eastern Europe.
Waldron-Davies joins MMD from advertising agency Cheetham Bell, where he
set up and headed the PR division. He previously worked at Harrison
Cowley, QBO and in-house at professional services company Arthur
From 1986 to 1991, he was a news reporter for the Sun and the BBC.
MMD’s Prague office counts about 15 staff and its clients include
pharmaceutical and healthcare giant Procter and Gamble and
microprocessor manufacturer Intel.
