Diary: Loaded editor still needs to prove that he knows where to stick it

The Powerhouse summer party was not billed as a men behaving badly party. But the stick-on ’Pow’ tattoos everyone had to wear seemed to bring out the naughty side in some of the guests.

The Powerhouse summer party was not billed as a men behaving badly

party. But the stick-on ’Pow’ tattoos everyone had to wear seemed to

bring out the naughty side in some of the guests.

Tattoos were spotted on risque bits of flesh. Male guests were

particularly imaginative - with some men even wearing them on their bald

heads - and the ’Pow’ theme was even spotted in the gents’ urinals.

But the party’s ’Pow’ award should go to Derek Harbinson, the new editor

of Loaded, spotted among the guests.

It seems Loaded readers have nothing to worry about - after being

abandoned by their ex-editor James Brown - as their new editor seems to

have adopted the lads’ cause with gusto.

Thrust into the limelight from the wings, he was obviously relishing his

new role as leader of the lads, and wasn’t shy about downing copious

amounts of the free drink, flirting with the girls and hogging the dance

floor in true Loaded style.

But Harbinson’s tattoo was not on display so we can only wonder where

the editor of Loaded would stick his.
