Two-Ten Communications, the news distribution service, has
appointed Michael Runnicles as its first client services director as it
seeks to expand its international client list.
Runnicles, 38, was previously head of news distribution services at the
Central Office of Information.
Two-Ten’s UK wire service, which is distributed via the Press
Association’s satellite, is widely used, but it now has the technology
in place to provide services on a global level. Runnicles will attempt
to increase the number of Two-Ten’s international clients to justify
this investment in technology.
Two-Ten is also keen to attract more in-house clients - currently the
vast majority of its business comes from PR agencies.
