Bazaarvoice, the social commerce brand, has appointed Lewis PR as its retained agency in Europe after a competitive pitch. Bazaarvoice develops 'solutions that improve the online shopping experience', allowing customers to make more informed purchase decisions. A core focus will be establishing a presence in the national as well as the new media and marketing press.

Cinesite, the film visual effects company behind blockbuster movies such as The Golden Compass and the Harry Potter franchise, has chosen Red Lorry Yellow Lorry to help build its profile across the UK and US. The agency has been charged with raising the profile of the company among key film production executives in the US, as well as launching Cinesite's production services arm.

We Are Social has hired Jordan Stone, social media manager at Text 100, to bolster the agency's corporate technology credentials. Jordan joins the agency as account director, and will be responsible for We Are Social's technology clients, as well as heading up its research and insight practice.

Six Degrees has made Andrew Bartlett director of its Engineering & Industry practice. An engineer by profession, Bartlett joined Six Degrees in 1999 to work on the consultancy's flagship engineering account, Asea Brown Boveri.

Hot Tin Roof has been signed up by Money Dashboard to promote its new online personal finance application. Hot Tin Roof plans to build trust and brand recognition for the personal finance company through a sustained online and traditional media campaign.
