The agency will aim to build on its social media work to launch the new strategy. Clients will be able to use the expertise from an integrated European team of communicators. MS&L's specialists in advocacy, policy and access, corporate health, cause marketing, social media, mobile communications, marketing and research are rolling out a new, interconnected approach.
‘Healthcare and pharmaceutical companies are experiencing enormous challenges as a result of the transformation of the healthcare and communications industries,' said MS&L director and head of healthcare Clare.
‘At least one in seven patients now surfs the web for information on illnesses and ailments before they go to see a doctor. This trend is only going to increase. In this new landscape, many organisations are unsure how to push ‘innovation with regulation' for success. MS&L's launch is a strategic, cross-border communications approach that helps uncover answers and solve our clients' biggest communication issues.'
The new approach will include an initial filter process to identiy clients' key issues. An online tool will pose five questions to trigger the process which will aim to enable clients to audit and isolate potential business challenges.
