MEDIA IN BRIEF: Oyston loses radio licences

The Radio Authority has agreed to the transfer of control of the four radio licences controlled by Owen Oyston to independent trusts. The move follows the Authority’s decision in December that Oyston was not a fit and proper person to hold the licences following his unsuccessful appeal against criminal charges of rape and indecent assault.
