Distilling firm William Grant and Sons has appointed Shandwick in
Spain to promote its whisky brand Glenfiddich among consumer and trade
audiences.
The account, which was won after a five-way pitch, carries a six-figure
fee and represents the biggest PR spend the company has made so far in
Spain. The agency has been briefed to raise Glenfiddich’s profile
through tactics including press trips to the Glenfiddich distillery and
sponsorship.
Spain is one of the five key markets identified by William Grant for
Glenfiddich.
