Lowe Bell Good Relations lures Affinity’s Allsopp

Ken Allsopp has left Omnicom consumer agency Affinity to join Lowe Bell Good Relations as a board director.

Ken Allsopp has left Omnicom consumer agency Affinity to join Lowe

Bell Good Relations as a board director.

Allsopp was head-hunted for the job at the end of last year and started

work on 1 May. He reports directly to chairman Jeff Lyes.

He will focus on corporate and issues management, providing support for

Lyes and the ongoing new business drive.

’This move puts me back into mainstream corporate work, more like the

work I have done at other companies,’ said Allsopp. ’It’s difficult to

grow corporate business quickly in an agency that is small and not so

well known.’

After holding director posts at Burson-Marsteller and Shandwick, Allsopp

joined Oglivy Adams and Rinehart in 1991. He was made redundant in 1994

and Affinity appointed him as a board director in 1995.

Allsopp was responsible for building Affinity’s non-travel business and

providing support for managing director Pippa Isbell. At Lowe Bell Good

Relations he will work directly with clients, including US agricultural

corporation Monsanto, Securicor and Deloitte and Touche.
