When the going gets tough, the tough get on their bikes. Next month sees Consolidated Communications’ nomenclaturally-challenged Phillida de la Billiere on a 250-mile bike journey around Israel. Phillida’s ride, with which she aims to raise money for NCH Action For Children, has been sponsored by Consolidated and its clients Buena Vista Home Entertainment and Blockbuster Video. Phillida regularly cycles to work but says it is her first sponsored bike ride. ‘I’m really looking forward to the challenge. I quite like the idea of living without luxury for a while.’
