Text 100’s head of public affairs Venessa Holtham, who escorted

Microsoft’s Bill Gates into No 10 Downing Street, has been busy meeting

world leaders lately.

The visit with super-rich Gates to see Tony Blair was soon followed by

an invite to Hillary Clinton’s 50th birthday bash in Chicago.

The trip to Number 10 went smoothly according to Holtham. Gates was

there to build up his rapport with Blair following an initial meeting

last year.

Apparently there were no mishaps. Gates and Holtham managed not to spill

their tea or drop their Mr.Kipling’s.

After organising such a top level meeting you’d expect Holtham to put

her feet up for a bit. But no, she was straight off to the States where

an obliging friend invited her to Hill and Bill’s bash. Holtham spent

the night chatting to the First Lady and adviser Sydney Blumenthall,

ex-Washington Post.

It would appear that no corridor of power is safe from Holtham’s tread.
