For Eurostar, getting out press releases seems to be proving almost as
difficult as getting trains through the Channel tunnel.
Having sent out one fax last week, advising newsrooms that train
services were resuming, Eurostar’s press office was compelled to send
out a second, somewhat revised, version the following day, advising that
the earlier missive was inaccurate.
The cover note explained the hiccup followed an electronic error and,
reassured recipients that a full ‘corect (sic) version’. followed. Must
have been leaves on the keyboard, I guess.
