Steven Lyons, Burson-Marsteller’s vice-chairman for north Asia, has
left the agency to pursue personal interests. Lyons ran B-M’s Hong Kong
office until earlier this year but prior to leaving had moved to a
solely client handling role (PR Week, 18 September). He reported to
Ferdinand de Bakker, the agency’s CEO in the Asia-Pacific region. Lyons
will not be directly replaced as regional vice-chairman. He will move to
Kuala Lumpur to live with his Malaysian wife and lecture at two
universities.
