The Suzy Lamplugh Trust has hired Strobe Communications to raise
its profile as the national charity for personal safety.
The charity was set up 11 years ago with the mission to create a safer
society following the disappearance of estate agent Suzy Lamplugh while
meeting an unknown client.
The Trust’s director Diana Lamplugh said that the charity had grown so
much over the past decade that it had to call in outside PR help.
’The Trust has aggressive development plans and ambitions,’ said
’We have strengthened our in-house marketing and fundraising teams and
we needed a consultancy to work in close partnership with our
Strobe, which specialises in charity, consumer and corporate marketing,
will aim at broadening understanding of the work of the charity and its
role as national adviser on personal safety.
This will include running the Suzy Lamplugh Trust press office, running
a creative campaign to raise the profile of the charity, and supporting
personal safety projects.
The Trust’s projects have included working with government, police,
hospitals and schools to maintain personal safety strategies.
