If you’ve ever wished that a troublesome client would simply accept
your idea for a new campaign without question, maybe you should have a
quiet word with Tracey Middleton, part time consultant with Rosalyn
Palmer PR. Because when she doesn’t have her PR hat on, Middleton is a
practising psychotherapist, specialising in hypnotherapy.
She has started to attract her own following after appearances in the
Daily Mail and on Liberty Radio last week, talking about the benefits of
being put into a trance.
PR and hypnotherapy aren’t so far apart, claims Middleton. ’Both involve
working with often frustrated, emotional people; getting them to set
goals and achieve them.’
Middleton insists she has never ’accidentally’ put any of her RPPR
clients in a trance, but admits that Rosalyn Palmer did recruit her for
her professional skills.
’My first client was US ’personal success coach’ Anthony Robbins. A
knowledge of psychology was particularly useful there, as it was for our
work for a laughter clinic which opened in Birmingham last year.’
