US telecoms company AT&T has promoted Dick Martin to vice-president
for PR and employee communications. He was previously head of corporate
public relations and took over as acting vice-president in July. Martin
has a global remit and is responsible for a 400-strong PR division. AT&T
has worked with PR agencies on a project basis, including Edelman PR
Worldwide and Burson-Marsteller, but do not retain any agencies.
