Lobbying firm Political Context has launched an environmental
strategy and communications consultancy.
Called Environmental Context, the agency will advise clients on how to
improve their impact on the environment, and on their environmental
policy and communications.
The consultancy will be headed by managing director Simon Propper. He
joins from Aspinwall and Company, an agency which advises companies
including Scottish Power and Thames water on how to make their
organisations more environmentally friendly.
Propper, who was client director of corporate environmental strategy at
Aspinwall, will help Context clients to prepare environmental
reports.
Political Context chairman Leighton Andrews said: ’In our first year a
significant amount of work which clients have brought us has concerned
environmental regulation. We see a real synergy between our political
work in this field and the kind of corporate environmental reporting in
which Simon specialises.’
Propper’s team includes Peter Knight, previously an environmental writer
for the Financial Times, Richard Dalley, an environmental systems
auditor, and Anne Grafe, an EU policy expert and lecturer at Imperial
College.
Environmental Context has a strategic alliance with Aspinwall and the
agencies will work jointly for selected clients.
