The Australian Tourist Commission has appointed Swedish PR agency
Jerry Bergstrom to handle its Scandinavian business.
Agency president Jerry Bergstrom said he is currently in discussions
with agencies in Norway, Finland and Denmark to work on the account,
which is thought to be worth around pounds 80,000.
The win follows a four-way competitive pitch between incumbent
Burson-Marsteller, Johansson and Co and Andreasson in Sweden.

The ATC reviews its agency accounts every three years. BGB and
Associates retained the account for the UK and Ireland(PR Week, 22
August), and Adam and Partner in Germany and Studio Aigo in Italy have
also been retained.
