The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) has picked
Warwickshire-based agricultural specialist Pharo Communications to
handle its public relations and promotional activity.
The association did not have an incumbent agency and the appointment
followed a six-way competitive pitch.
The agency will kick off with a campaign to attract more members to the
association. BETA represents individuals and businesses with an interest
in the equestrian world, such as saddlers, feed merchants and horse
It currently has 540 members and campaigns on safety issues.
Pharo Communications will also be co-ordinating the press office at the
annual BETA trade Fair held at the Birmingham NEC.
The account will be lead by agency MD Sarah Pharo. Other equine clients
include horse worming treatment Equalan, Equinn feed supplements and
Petplan Equine insurance.
