The French association of lobbying consultants, Association
Francaise des Conseils en Lobbying, has appointed Oliver Le Picard as
its new chairman.
Le Picard, who is chairman of Paris-based public affairs agency
Communication et Institutions, takes on the role for the next two years.
He takes over from Thierry Lefebure who stepped down this month after
serving his term of office. The association, which was set up in 1991,
represents the French lobbying industry and ensures all its 18 members
abide by a code of conduct. Members include agencies such as Boury et
Associes and Communication Economique et Sociale and agencies with
international parent companies like APCO France and Interel.
