Midas is charged with promoting a range of fresh and prepared foods, which are being produced under licence. The appointment follows a competitive pitch.
The National Trust is involved in the whole food chain through its estates, farms, orchards and mills, and is actively campaigning to encourage the public to think and learn more about food and where it comes from.
The National Trust team at Midas is led by senior consultant Penny Clifton, working closely with the trust’s brand licensing manager Marie Shingfield and head of communications Andrew McLaughlin.
The trade and consumer media relations programme complements the trust’s ongoing food and farming campaigns such as ‘Food Glorious Food’.
