Company formation specialists Jordan and Sons is committing pounds
100,000 in PR spend to raise its profile as a business service and
information provider.
The Bristol-based firm, which specialises in company formations in the
UK and overseas and claims an established customer base of 32,000, will
be targeting specialist professional press as well as national business
pages.
Battersea-based Communications in Business won the account after a
three-way pitch to handle an integrated campaign worth pounds 1 million,
including press advertising. There was no incumbent agency.
The marketing spend is designed to promote a widening range of business
services and products offered by the 132-year old firm.
Sharon Bernstein, deputy managing director at CIB, said pounds 100,000
would be spent on PR, special events and sponsorship to raise the
profile of the ‘sleeping giant’.
She added that the firm would be involved in marketing Jordan’s existing
services as well as ‘helping it look at new markets in business
information and services - all targeting professionals such as
solicitors and accountants or the management of private companies’.
