The Scottish Rugby Union has hired its first public relations agency,
Dunseath Citigate, to handle media relations and help explain recent
changes in the game’s league structure to fans. ‘The appointment is
recognition that there is a greater need for communications as rugby
union turns professional,’ said director Charlie Laidlaw. ‘We are all
ex-rugby players on the account team and I think we understand the game
and can bring a certain interest and passion to the work.’
