Hill and Knowlton’s Swedish agency has hired its first full-time
public affairs consultant, Martin Borgs. Borgs was voted lobbyist of the
year in 1997, by marketing newspaper Resume. Borgs’ plaudit was for his
work as an adviser to the Swedish broadcasting association, where he
campaigned to keep the country’s airwaves open to privately owned
broadcasters. Borgs is currently communications adviser to former
education minister and Swedish parliament member Per Unckel.
