Playstation goes to Fink and Fuchs

FRANKFURT: Sony Computer Entertainment has chosen Fink and Fuchs to handle corporate and consumer accounts for its video games console Sony Playstation.

handle corporate and consumer accounts for its video games console Sony

Playstation.



Fees for the account are thought to be worth close to pounds

100,000.



Sony Playstation was launched in Germany in September 1995, with support

from Text 100 which had a contract with Sony until December 1997. The

Playstation has sold 1.5 million consoles since it launched.



Fink and Fuchs has been briefed to raise awareness of the company and

product, targeting new audiences, and stimulate coverage of Playstation

events and sponsorship.



’The games community tends to be men aged between 16 and 30,’ said

managing partner Stephan Fink. ’We want the to reach a younger, more

female audience and special interest groups.’
