PARIS: Aeroports de Paris (ADP), the public authority which manages

Paris’s 14 airports and aerodromes, is reviewing its pounds 200,000

budget PR account, currently held by Euro RSCG.

The brief is to handle PR and media relations for the group of hotel,

restaurant and duty-free shop franchises - known as Boutiques ADP -

which comes under the authority’s control. These include international

hotel chains Hilton, Novotel and Ibis and international restaurant

chains Flo and Maxim’s. The franchise-holders will be contributing

jointly with the authority to the PR budget, which is expected to be cut

to pounds 150,000.

The authority retenders its PR account on a regular basis - Euro RSCG

has held it for three years and GCI Moreau Lascombe held it before

then.

The account is expected to be awarded next month. The agency selected

will report to the ADP’s head of commercial services, Sandrine

Prieur.

ADP, which was set up in 1945, comes under the remit of the French

Transport Ministry and is responsible for maintaining services at

airports, aerodromes and helidromes within a 50km radius of Paris.
