Ryanair press team awaits tonight's BBC Panorama exposé

The Ryanair press team is bracing itself for tonight's BBC Panorama investigation, which it claims will be a 'hatchet job'.

Exposé: Ryanair

The budget airline's press team took the unusual step of publishing all correspondence with Panorama last week to try to ‘expose Panorama's false claims and repeated refusals to allow Ryanair an adequate right of reply'. It posted the emails on its website and emailed them to journalists with a press release accusing the BBC of ‘bias and censorship'.
Ryanair has said it is upset that the BBC will not broadcast an interview with its CEO Michael O'Leary.
‘Panorama has repeatedly refused Ryanair's offer of an unedited interview, either live or pre-recorded, because they know that these false claims are rubbish and don't stand up to scrutiny,' said head of communications Stephen McNamara.

But the BBC said it refused to interview McNamara after the airline tried to secure editorial control over it.
