PR Europe: DUBLIN - Guiney wins Irish PR presidency

Roddy Guiney, managing director of Wilson Hartnell PR, has been elected president of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland for 1997. He succeeds Francis Carty who served as president for two years. Heneghan PR director Nigel Heneghan, who becomes vice-president, said the institute would continue to develop services such as education facilities and professional development opportunities for its 200 members.

Roddy Guiney, managing director of Wilson Hartnell PR, has been
