Who are the web barons?
David Babbs is executive director of the online campaign group and heads up a team including Hannah Lownsbrough and Johnny Chatterton. The site wants to bring users together to take action on issues that matter.

Get the tone right
38 Degrees uses technology to call for action – including online petitions and sending direct emails to MPs or local newspaper editors. It was inspired by organisations such as Getup.org.au and BarackObama.com, which have encouraged people to discuss issues about which they have concerns.

The campaigning site is looking for PROs to help with specific campaigns and partnership opportunities. Operations director Nina Kowalska is also looking for ‘new online tools to enable our members to take effective action’.
