Commercial radio has regained its lead over BBC radio, according to the latest RAJAR listening figures for the first quarter of 1997. Commercial radio now accounts for 49.4 per cent of listening, one per cent ahead of BBC Radio. Radio 1 lost 370,000 listeners between January and March this year.
