HobbyCraft, the art and craft retailer, has appointed Pelham as its corporate media relations adviser following a competitive pitch process. The agency's team is led by director Kate Catchpole. The win means that Pelham now acts for more than 15 retailers - both listed and non-listed.
Anheuser-Busch InBev has promoted Mike Kelly to the role of director of corporate affairs for Western Europe. Previously he performed the same role for the brewer in the UK & Ireland. Kelly has also worked as group public affairs manager at BAA and head of research at LLM Communications.
Elemense, a newly established recruitment processing outsourcing firm, has appointed Cadence Market Strategy following a competitive pitch. The agency will manage launch PR for the new subsidiary of Matchtech along with managing a major marketing initiative. Cadence CEO Dan Doherty will direct the account.
Supporta, the AIM-listed provider of domiciliary care services, has appointed Walbrook PR as its financial PR and investor relations adviser. Walbrook will advise the firm on its communications with the media, investment community and other third-party stakeholders, as well as assisting Supporta to build its profile and strategically focus on the provision of care to the home, reducing debt and continuing its acquisition strategy. Founder Paul McManus will head the account, with fellow founder Ben Knowles overseeing all investor relations activities.
