In a poll of senior in-house lobbyists, 42 per cent cited Manchester as their favourite venue. Brighton came second with 32 per cent of first preferences. Less popular were Birmingham (12 per cent) and Bournemouth (11 per cent). Blackpool came last with just eight per cent of lobbyists citing it as their favourite venue.
ComRes and College Public Policy surveyed 149 senior in-house public affairs practitioners. Blackpool was most popular among public sector, trade unions and NGO lobbyists.
