Key Communications has signed a media relations contract with Walt
Disney Consumer Products.
Key won the account, to handle UK media relations for major events, in a
competitive three-way pitch. The first highlighted event will be this
year’s Children’s Summit, organised by Disney Publications and UNESCO,
the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.
The agency will promote the May Disneyland Paris event during a five-
month campaign, aimed at educational and children’s media and the
regional press. The agency-signing marks the first time that PR support
for the Children’s Summit has been handled by a UK outfit.
