Lynne Franks and Jackie Cooper this week continued to carve-up the
client list of defunct agency PR Unlimited.
Lynne Franks has won Procter and Gamble’s Head and Shoulders account
after pitching against two other agencies, but lost out to Jackie Cooper
on US sportswear giant Russell Athletic.
A P&G spokesperson confirmed the appointment of Lynne Franks but
declined to give more details. The agency is believed to have picked up
another PR Unlimited client, The Gap, last week.
Russell Athletic is the second PRU account to go to Jackie Cooper PR.
Last week the agency landed the Lee Jeans account.
For Russell Athletic the agency’s brief is to heighten awareness of the
brand among a target audience of 15-35 year old males.
