1. Spotted enjoying a fine lunch in the Ivy Club on Monday were rival PR supremos and fellow Chelsea fans Gary Farrow and Mark Borkowski (pictured with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba). Were they planning some sort of diabolic collaboration, Flack enquired? 'No, we are just having a good moan,' retorted a glum Farrow, tucking into a tasty seabass with shrimp butter sauce.

2. Flack's London Fashion Week spy spotted two Vogue hacks in the front row in matching Balenciaga jodhpurs and Topshop striped sweaters on Saturday. Alice Olins of The Times was wearing the same top and tweeted: 'Oh dear, at least three other people in my new stripy top. I'm a fool to stock up in Topshop before the show.' Smiles all round for Topshop's PROs then.

3. Phil Hall Associates set up a piece with Daily Mail writer Rebecca Hardy and client 'cancer healer' Adrian Pengelly, days after BBC's Watchdog branded Pengelly 'dangerous'. In a triumph of media relations, Hardy then wrote Pengelly was in fact 'a rather gentle man'.
