Mathieu Thomas has been awarded a three-month contract to promote
sight-seeing cruises on the Seine for tourist firm Bateaux Parisiens. It
is the first time the tour company has used a public relations agency.
No other agencies pitched, although freelance consultants submitted
proposals. Bateaux Parisiens hopes to increase its profile against its
better known competitor, Bateaux Mouche. ’The company wants us to
differentiate them from their main competitors because nobody can tell
them apart,’ said Mathieu Thomas MD Isabelle Gallemaert.
