Iceland home delivery

Frozen food retailer Iceland has brought in Nexus Public Relations to promote its home delivery scheme, which will be available nationally in September. It is thought to be the only free delivery service by a major food retailer. Currently running in 500 of the frozen food specialist’s 720 stores, the scheme means any customer spending pounds 25 or more is entitled to free delivery of their shopping. Nexus director Jo Rimmer said the campaign would particularly target mothers with young children. The delivery service was trialled at the Chester branch in June last year.
